JenBrett MobileMe for the iPhone, finally! Nov 30, 2008 11:50 AM So apparently I've been complaining for a month and there was an app out there, silly me. This app came out in October, Apple should have told us :) MobileFiles app is free and allows you to open all the files saved on your iDisk. My $100 a year is finally worth it. You can also download the files to your iPhone. Now if only Mail would let me attach files. Come on Steve, I know you don't want it to be a PDA, but let's face it, you're just postponing the inevitable.

JenBrett Favorite Apps - Update Nov 29, 2008 2:24 PM I've clearly had too much downtime over the Thanksgiving holiday. Here's the Apps I've been loving: ACTPrinter: $0.99 - While I'm still waiting for the attachment function for iPhone mail, being able to keeps PDFs and Docs on my iPhone is a step in the right direction. note: you will need to go to the main web page and download the printer. Once you've downloaded it, you need to keep it, don't delete the download. I moved mine to the Apps folder. Plusmo College and Pro Football: free! Extremely detailed and updates every 30 seconds. Moop: $0.99 - I bought it just for the "ba-dump-ching" sound effect. My beau has awful jokes :) Flip: free - beam contact info to other iPhones. iBeam is $0.99 and works with BB and Treo, but who needs those ;) Y'all found any nifty new apps?
JenBrett Apple Recalls 3G USB Power Adapter Sep 24, 2008 9:09 AM Seems the prongs have broken off and remained lodged in the power outlets. Geeze, those people must have yanked them out. Still, better safe than sorry, here's the info. http://www.apple.com/support/usbadapter/exchangeprogram/
JenBrett Personalizing my iPhone Ringtones Sep 18, 2008 8:07 AM The first thing I've done since I got my first phone with downloadable ring tones was give custom tones to the important people in my life. One thing I loved about the Palm Treo was that I could use any MP3 I had loaded on the phone as a ring tone. So having to make my own for the iPhone left my short attention span crying. I managed to sit down long enough to make 1 custom ring for the phone in general. This past weekend, in between football games, I managed to make tones for all the important people in my life. It's super easy: 1. Open a New Project in Garage Band 2. Delete the default track 3. Drag a song from iTunes to the Garage Band window 4. Choose to Send to iTunes as a Ringtone 5. It's gonna tell you the file is too big, click OK 6. Drag the small yellow bar that appeared over the track to the section of the song you want for the ring tone 7. You can make the bar larger, making the ringtone longer 8. Once you've selected your section, Send to iTunes as ringtone again 9. In iTunes be sure your iPhone is set to sync the Ringtones Playlist Here's my Playlist: Default: Jessica - Allman Brothers Mom: Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison Dad: One Day - Hans Zimmer (Pirates: Worlds End) Work: Darlington County - Bruce Springstein Haley (my fav Hookie fan): Enter Sandman - Metalica Kiki (my fav theatre actress): Super Trooper - Mamma Mia OST Leigh (my BFF): When It All Falls Apart - Veronicas What are your fav ringtones?
